The partial eclipse, which takes place as the Moon moves into and out of Earth’s shadow, will be visible from the eastern United States and Canada just before the Moon sets in the morning, and from India, Nepal, western China, Mongolia, and eastern Russia just after the Moon rises in the evening. Along the Asian Pacific Rim, the total eclipse will be visible just after moonrise. The total lunar eclipse will be visible near moonset in the western continental United States and Canada, all of Mexico, most of Central America and Ecuador, western Peru, and southern Chile and Argentina. Our atmosphere filters the light as it passes, softening the edge of our planet’s shadow and giving the Moon a deep, rosy glow. During this alignment, Earth blocks some of the Sun’s light from reaching the full moon. What is a lunar eclipse?Ī lunar eclipse takes place when the Sun and Moon occupy precise positions on opposite sides of Earth. ![]() When the Moon is at or near its closest point to Earth at the same time as it is full, it is called a “ supermoon.” During this event, because the full moon is a little bit closer to us than usual, it appears especially large and bright in the sky. ![]() Each month, the Moon passes through perigee (the point closest to Earth) and apogee (the point farthest from Earth). The Moon travels around our planet in an elliptical orbit, or an elongated circle. In other words, on May 26, 2021, the full moon will enter Earth’s shadow - and, when the Moon is not in our planet’s shade, it will appear even bigger and brighter than usual. This month brings the “most super” of the year’s supermoons, and on top of that, a total lunar eclipse. Seedlings have narrow seed leaves and-depending on the type of chard-red, white, yellow, or orange stems. Like beets (a close relative), chard typically produces 1 to 3 seedlings per seed cluster. A winter squash leaf will generally be broader and more rounded and, while hairy, not prickly. A summer squash will develop prickly, semi-triangular, jagged-edged leaves. While all squash will emerge with rounded cotyledons, squash seedling leaves will vary by type the more that they grow. Radish seedlings Squash (Summer and Winter) The nutritious radish leaves, or “tops,” may be eaten as well as the roots. Radishes are fast-growing, and those planted in the cool days of spring may be ready to eat in just three or four weeks. Radishes have smooth, heart-shaped seed leaves that soon give way to elongated and scalloped or gently serrated true leaves. As it grows, a pumpkin will form huge leaves and its vines may eventually cover a lot of territory. A pumpkin’s seed leaves will be large, flat, and rounded, looking a little like small elephant ears. Peas like to climb and will form oval leaflets with tendrils that readily wind around supports. Lettuce seedlings respond well to consistent watering and cooler temperatures and, if started indoors, will need to be hardened off before being planted outside. Depending on whether the leaves will become soft or stiff, loose or bunched, lettuce seedlings will vary in appearance. The many varieties of looseleaf and head lettuce are characterized by their leaves. Until its first true leaves appear, it may be hard to recognize it! As the cucumber vine develops, its delicate-looking but tenacious tendrils will grip and climb anything in their path. They mainly serve as “snack packs”-energy bars for the infant plant to consume so that it can put forth its own true leaves. The first two leaves that many vegetable seedling put forth are called cotyledons ( seed leaves), which do not pattern themselves after the leaves of the mature plant. Conditional Orders are advanced orders that allow you extra control. It seems, that the hungarian translation for "Load percentage" is not the best, since it got translated as "Load-state". Orders are fundamental to playing OpenTTD successfully. Considering also the fact, that some NewGRF addons also update the maximum loading capacity of ships it's impossible to make of use of this conditional orders, yet I would like to use them. Further examples: Enter 5 -> 6 Enter 7 -> 8 Enter 10 -> 11. Because of that, it is not possible to set the value of the conditional order to 2. For example: Enter 2, click ok, Conditional Order gets updated to 3. If I enter some value for Maximum speed, certain values come out wrong. What does the conditional cargo status use? Percentage? Amount? The problem I had with it was, that the maximum allowed number was 1000, but since trains have also lot more, it seems to be a very low number. I think this problem is occured since many conditional order type is treated by this one else block. Is there a way to have a conditional order based on the status of the station. if cargo state has not less, than 20Īnd despite this I wasn't able to convince my bus to wait for at least 20 passengers, it jumped to point 1. So my orders look like this:ģ.) Jump to step 1. Yet I know, that with time the town will grow, but I want have the bus only waiting for 20 people, or more, when available. I want to start moving passengers from Point A to point B, but only want to have around 20 passengers on the bus. A is a small town, 345 inhabitants, the other has 1200. As the routing scheme may depend on all information about possible next hops of the vehicle to be available this is suboptimal. I am also finding confusing having only 1000 as maximum set for cargo related conditional orders. When refreshing the link stats for the next hops a vehicle will visit only one branch of each conditional order is refreshed. Normally I like to make conditional orders for cargo, but despite my settings none of my vehicles seem to be interested in these orders. Since conditional orders have been introduced, I was happy using it, but in some cases it doesn't work well. There is an alternative, which is why I highlighted the other cities growth too on Conditional orders 1.png, which is on Conditional orders 2.(I wasn't really sure where to ask this question, so I have just used this topic. A completed order list doesn't resume from where it left off, so each time it starts from the 1st order. When you make a chain with 10+ stations then only the stations served to affect the score, and given when towns are big, the 1st station usually has enough passengers to allow conditional orders to work best when that station runs dry then automatically moves on to next on the list. Both trains have same orders, the left one with a conditonal orders to skip CE, so they should behave the same. The possibilities are endless and the highest order count I've been bothered to chain is 86. What this does is make a bus travel to all 3 close stations, unless it's reached 100% load at any point at which point it skips to last order. After we've selected conditional orders as set out above, we then select a destination to skip to, in this case, highlighted in red, but note that order whilst numbered in picture as 5, was in fact 4, prior to selection, as order 2 was created when we selected order 4, for the conditional order. Whilst you may notice the comparable city owned by green shows a lower/better town growth it also shows the number of houses and type of town.Ĭonditional orders 3.png shows you where to select conditional orders, but note in order to affect a number you'll need to highlight the next, so in this case, to affect order 1 I've highlighted order 2, before selecting conditional orders.Ĭonditional orders 4.png is where the confusion lies. Ok, I've been using these orders for a few months, I've conquered the bus/trucks, and I'm making progress with the train version, however, despite trying to explain it to the admins, a tutorial is probably the best way to go Ĭonditional orders 1.png shows the completed order set of a bus for a town, which affects the town growth as indicated in the red circle. ![]() ![]() Rankings and detailed statistics with charts Rated games - Track your rating and performance Various time control options - Classic, Blitz and Bullet chess games Big international community, chess multiplayer - More than 1.000.000 registered players on app is the perfect tool for everyone, ranging from amateurs and children to pro players and grandmasters. But best means something different depending on whether you’re a computer or human. The problem with only playing computers is that most humans aren’t trying to learn to play chess like a computer they’re trying to play like humans. Their reasons vary, but it ultimately comes down to the same thing: Playing against other people is just too high stakes. I only play computers, my students, aged 5 to 65, repeatedly say. During the pandemic my classes have moved, like everything else, to the virtual world. Neither of us knew that chess would end up becoming my livelihood (I still teach to this day) or that a short time later I’d become a scholastic champion. We learned to play together on the living room floor of our rent-stabilized Manhattan apartment. My father caved to my obsession, buying a red and black cardboard set from CVS. I first fell in love with chess when I was 5 years old-in 1982, before AOL had even been invented-when I saw a beautiful wooden board across the room. Now we can access partners anywhere with one click of our mouse, and games can begin right away. In the past, chess players used snail mail to play their correspondence games, some lasting two years as they sent moves one at a time across the world. More Americans now play chess than tennis and golf combined, and most of that is online. Thanks to the pandemic and hit Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit, interest in virtual chess has spiked. Sigh.Tidal iOS app engineers just can’t seem to grasp MQA. ![]() Still should not be happening for devices and services so expensive.Īny updates on the bluesound front about this? Thanks. Not sure about where to post this because it’s specifically an issue with Tidal and codec on iPhone, not strictly HW, but definitely not music. I have one router and 2 relay antennas and perhaps the connection was initially to one given antenna for both the phone and the speaker and then one of the 2 said devices connected to eg the router directly and so there is a change in the connections. I read the comments above and also started wondering whether there could be a link with how the different devices connect to the network. The speakers are also gone from the BluOS app (which only use for changing settings because it is such a poor app!). The speaker keeps on playing the playlist but the Tidal iPhone app has completely lost the connection (speaker not even discoverable anymore). But it all goes wrong after 15 or so minutes. I usually start playing my songs from the Tidal connect app, where I normally see my speakers with no problems. The one thing that remains is this annoying loss of connection to the speakers. Like all of you, I used to experience the track scrambling thing but that is indeed gone. The Spotify app works great with the Node 2i, so I will go back to Spotify when it starts offering CD quality in the near future. Meanwhile, the Bluesound app (which I don't like because of its limited functionality) is correctly tracking the song actually playing. Reestablishing the connection is difficult and requires stopping and restarting the music. ![]() I can be sitting in the same room playing music for 15-30 minutes, then look at my phone to see what song is currently playing, and the TIDAL app will have disconnected and still be showing the first song on the album or playlist from 15-30 minutes ago. This often requires manually switching access point connections before using the Node 2i.Īlthough I think I have that problem solved, the TIDAL app still regularly loses its connection with the NODE 2i even while music is actively streaming from TIDAL via the device and my phone remains connected to the same access point as the Node 2i. In the latter, the only mix I receive in "My Mix" is a single "Welcome Mix" rather than the multiple and varying mixes and recommendations available through the TIDAL app.įor what it is worth, by necessity I have three access points in my home, and I have learned that it is necessary for my phone to be connected to the same access point as the Node 2i in order for me to be able to successfully select the Node 2i device in the TIDAL app. I really would prefer to use the TIDAL interface rather than the BluOS one. Device selection works perfectly with Spotify Connect, so this appears to be an integration problem between TIDAL Connect and the Bluesound device. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the TIDAL app, but that did not fix the problem. Any ideas how to fix this? All software (iPhone, BluOS and TIDAL) is up to date. Then 10 or 15 minutes later, the Node 2i will randomly pop up as a device option again. ![]() When I try to select the Node 2i as the output device again, it doesn't appear only the iPhone and AirPlay/Bluetooth options appear. But when I try to change to a different artist or mix after a short while, the TIDAL app usually no longer recognizes the Node 2i and starts playing the music out of my iPhone's speakers. When the Node 2i device does appear as an option and I select it, I can choose and play music successfully. Then the Node 2i device will randomly appear and disappear as an option over time when I am sitting in the same place. Unfortunately, when I follow TIDAL's instructions and open the "Now Playing" screen and hit the device selector button on the bottom left, the Node 2i rarely appears as an option despite the fact that I am sitting five feet from it with no obstructions. Because I desired better sound quality, I signed up for TIDAL and downloaded the new TIDAL app with the Connect feature. For a few weeks, I used it with Spotify Connect with no problem. I recently purchased a Node 2i that I have hardwired into our network via Ethernet connection. ![]() You can visit our FAQs page for more help and solutions if you have a problem.
